Two years on from its UK debut at the 2000 British International Motor Show
in Birmingham, the MINI is set to steal the limelight again with an all-action
display in Hall 2 at this month's NEC show.
MINI Adventure Live! will present a product range in a totally active format
- a first for a British motor show. Seven dramatic and choreographed stunt displays
a day will showcase the renowned handling and great looks of MINI One, MINI
Cooper and MINI Cooper S, with up to 1,000 people accommodated at each show.
Trevor Houghton-Berry, MINI General Manager said: "We're really looking
forward to bringing MINI back to Birmingham. The British unveiling two years
ago was a momentous occasion and MINI Adventure Live! is all set to repeat the
impact MINI had at that show. However, with MINI's huge personality we felt
that the traditional static stand was unsuitable and that visitors would rather
see MINIs in action, doing what they do best."
MINI owners will be invited to watch MINI Adventure Live! from a 'behind-the-scenes'
location that will make them feel even more part of the show. Backstage access
will be past a dramatic theatre-style street scene backdrop with visitors accompanied
by a MINI lollipop lady
or man!
A range of MINIs with various options and accessories, along with items of MINI
Stuff - MINI's own range of clothing and lifestyle accessories - will also be
displayed on the stand for those visitors who want a closer MINI experience
whilst waiting for MINI Adventure Live! to rev up.
