Ford Accident Repair Centres have introduced a comprehensive three-year warranty on the quality and durability of collision repairs using original Ford parts.
Should any defect occur after repair work has been carried out, customers will
be entitled to have the problem rectified free of charge at the Centre which
made the original repair.
The warranty includes body panels, parts, paint and labour. It allows for unlimited
mileage, with the exception of wear-and-tear items such as exhausts and tyres.
The new warranty, which is available throughout the UK and continental Europe, extends the scope of the previous three-year workmanship guarantee and one-year parts warranty, and operates independently of the Ford new vehicle perforation warranty of up to twelve years.
If the car is sold before the warranty expires, then entitlement is transferable to the next vehicle owner. If the original Ford Accident Repair Centre has ceased trading, or the vehicle has been sold out of the original repair region, then another Ford Accident Repair Centre can perform the repair.
"This comprehensive new warranty provides added value and peace of mind
for our customers," said Keith Reed, Ford Collision Repair Marketing Manager.
"It also reflects our confidence in the quality and durability of work
carried out by Ford Accident Repair Centres, using original Ford parts."
