SUNSHINE TOP FOR NEW CORSA LIFE MODEL

Vauxhall's new summertime air conditioned Corsa Life special edition comes with an unprecedented level of standard equipment and stunning looks inside and out.

It is also set to provide fresh air unlimited with a first-time optional electric full-length canvas sun roof.

To make this exciting new model more accessible to its younger audience there is a year's free insurance for drivers aged 21 to 80 or a £500 insurance subsidy for those aged 17 to 20.

Inside Corsa Life bright piazza red seats and trim complement the exterior two-coat black finish; piazza charcoal trim contrasts perfectly with the flame red exterior, and brilliant piazza blue trim enhances the star silver body colour choice.

Corsa Life is available from May and is based on the Club 58 PS 1.0-litre 12v model. Vauxhall's Easytronic automated manual gearbox, formerly available only on the 1.2-litre models, makes its 1.0-litre debut on Corsa Life and its new top-economy companion, Corsa ECO.

Its unprecedented standard equipment level includes:

· air conditioning
· CD player
· aluminium look centre console
· body-coloured mirrors
· new trim

"These are some of the brightest, jazziest interior colours we have had in Corsa," says brand manager Sara Nicholson. "We are certain they will appeal to the younger upwardly mobile age group, reflecting their own vibrant personality."

But the real fun thing about Life is the optional full length electrically operated canvas sunroof with an aerodynamic roof spoiler to prevent wind noise.

The Irmscher folding sun-top is fitted on the production line at the Corsa plant in Spain, so must be specified at the time of ordering the car. Owners can let the sun shine in for just £695 including VAT.

In addition to the free insurance or insurance subsidy, Life can be had on a three-year 0% interest deal with a 40 per cent deposit. As an alternative, a £650 Vauxhall Finance allowance can be used towards the initial deposit on a Vauxhall Finance arrangement.

Corsa Life on-the-road prices start from £8,495.
