YAMAHA SCOOTER AWARD

We don't mention scooters much in our news coverage but we wil let you know that Auto Express has selected the Yamaha 125cc Teos as best scooter in its 'Product Honours awards for 2002'. Taking into account styling, practicality, usability and overall running costs it was declared the best 'all rounder'.
The Teos weighs just 113kg and has a wheelbase of just 1.3m. Powered by an electrically started, liquid cooled, four stroke motor, it has an automatic transmission. The seat will store a full face helmet. It looks nice according to the pictures, and at £2,599 on the road with free third party insurance (Subject to status), free RAC cover and 12 months unlimited mileage warranty it seems very good VFM.
