Car parking is the biggest cause of disputes between neighbours, according to a recent report with increasing multi-car families being cited as one of the reasons.

Nearly one in four of the 1000 households interviewed in a Norwich Union poll, said that car parking was a serious problem.

You may think the space outside your property is yours to use by right, but unless there are local parking restrictions, residents do not have an automatic right to park in a particular spot.
