Premier Charity Karting Challenge to fight Leukaemia!

Forget road rage! forget traffic jams! Come down to The Raceway, Kings Cross and enjoy six wonderful hours of sheer exhilaration and release all that road rage tension.

Life-saving leukaemia charity, the Anthony Nolan Trust is staging its’ first annual major Karting event at The Raceway, Kings Cross next month when teams of between four and eight will enjoy racing in 9hp Bowman karts on tarmac and will be able to monitor their progress on electronic scoreboards. Entries can be all day or for just the morning or afternoon. Places are limited.

The charity will be joined on the day by a number of celebrity drivers including top Michael Schumacher look-a-like, Karl Lasnier, www.schumacher-lookalike.com.

Event organiser, Andrew Bates, said, "I am really excited about this event, we’ve got a super day lined up at this premier circuit. The emphasis will be on fun and fundraising"

All funds raised, through team members getting sponsored, will enable leukaemia charity, The Anthony Nolan Trust to add more volunteer donors to their bone marrow register which costs them £50 a time. By adding more donors the charity will be able to provide more hope to leukaemia sufferers in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant.

The event that will take place on 21st April has kindly been supported by www.schumacher-lookalike.com, petrol-heads.com and Autosport magazine.
