MG Sport & Racing Limited announce today (August 29), the availability of post registration XPOWER diesel power upgrades. Initially developed for the recently launched MG ZT and ZT-T CDTi diesels, these tune enhancements will also be immediately available to owners of the Rover 75 Saloon and Tourer, and to all new diesel MG and Rover cars in due course.

The XPOWER diesel power upgrade initiative addresses an increasing demand for diesel fuelled vehicles, with the ability to upgrade the power and associated performance. Available through all UK MG and Rover dealerships, the XPOWER diesel power upgrades elicit more power and torque, with improved economy also being a by-product of this enhanced performance tune.

Power on the ZT and ZT-T increases the CDTi performance from 116 to 131Ps, with the important torque figure growing from 260 to 300Nm. The extra power and torque reduces the acceleration time to 60mph by one second and by more between gears.
