ALMERA TINO GETS A LEATHERING

Following the introduction of the revised Almera Tino range, Nissan has added a new sophisticated special edition in the shape of a hurricane - the Tino Hurricane that is.

Based on the SE2 and powered by a choice of 1.8, 2.0 and 2.2 Di engines, prices for the Hurricane start at £14,300 for the 1.8-litre. For just £200 more than the SE2 (SE2 only available with 1.8-litre engine), the Hurricane adds front fog lamps, rear electric windows, 6 CD autochanger with steering wheel mounted audio controls and leather and Alcantara interior trim (which is not only stylish, but hard-wearing and wipe cleanable, too), worth over £1400.

For the first time, Pearl Black is offered as an exclusive colour on the Hurricane and there's also the option of upgrading to include Birdview™ satellite navigation for £1500.

That's in addition to the standard air conditioning, front electric windows, 16" alloy wheels, full body coloured bumpers, door mirrors and side sill spoilers already boasted by the SE2. The Tino Hurricane is loaded with safety features too, including driver's, passenger and front side airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist and active front head rests.

And Nissan is offering 0% finance over 36 months or a year's free insurance (if purchased using Preferences, Nissan's personal contract purchase plan) on this model too. (Sorry, excluding Northern Ireland and anyone not aged between 21-80 years. )
